THUNDERCAT FEAT. KAMASI WASHINGTON - THEM CHANGES (CO-PRODUCED BY FLYING LOTUS)

Good news fam!!

One of the most gifted bass player and vocalist Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner is almost ready to excite you with a mini-project titled “The Beyond / Where the Giants Roam ” scheduled for next week.

After collaborating with the most notable artist of the black music scene such as Erykah Badu,Sa-Ra Creative Partners,Bilal,Childish Gambino,Taylor McFerrin and the recent appearance on Kendrick Lamar’s masterpiece To Pimp A Butterfly , Mr. Bruner decided to record a six pieces album that boasts appearances from Los Angeles multi-instrumentalist, arranger, composer Miguel Atwood-Ferguson,veteran pianist Herbie Hancock,Flying Lotus and jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington.

The first leak appeared recently on Branfeeder‘s soundcloud and it’s titled Them Changes!

Damn…it sounds so so classy and refined!

The special vintage and soft tone of Thundercat voice soars over the funkadelic, hypnotic and ultra-seductive bass rhythm and saxophone sultry sound finely played by Kamasi Washington (who returns the favour to Thundercat, after the fruitful collabo for the magnum opus The Epic).

To elevate the quality of the tune , Thundercat teams up with FlyLo , who co-produced the joint adding his remarkable class!
