THE PHARCYDE – SHE SAID (JANSPORT J REMIX)
Hip-Hop producer Justin Williams aka Jansport J enjoyed a prominent position working with artists like Snoop Dogg,Dom Kennedy,Ab-Soul and Planet Asia among others. We delighted the audiences with a dope treatment remix of TiRon & Ayomari ‘s piece included on da selection called Into The Remix and today we seduce your soul with a supa-soulful remix of a classic performed by legendary hip-hop group The Pharcyde titled She Said masterfully handled by the one and only Jansport J. THE INCOMPARABLE SHAKESPERE – THE WORLD IS YOURS (REMIX)
Gotdamn, Flatbush’s emcee The Incomparable Shakspere dabbles in a personal version of a classic performed by Nasir Jones and included on his milestone album Illmatic. We are talking about the tune titled The World Is Yours!! The Incomparable Shakespere def kills the mic with his superb rhymes!! SILENT POETS – SOMEDAY (MIGHTY BOP REMIX)
Japanese avant-garde duo Silent Poets mesmerizes us with their eclectic sound flecked with electronic,downtempo,trip-hop,hip-hop and acid-jazz. Michiharu Shimoda dropped in 1999 the album To Come.. recruiting artists like Ursula Rucker. In 2000 french label Yellow Productions released a 12” of the single Someday and we highly recommend to sit back and relax with the top-tier treatment remix handled by Mighty Bop a duo composed by parisien DJs/producers DJ Yellow and Bob Sinclair.
MICHAEL JACKSON – CAN’T HELP IT (TODD TERJE REMIX)
What happens when a talented dj/producer from the cold Norwegian put his hands on a ever greeen song from one of the most selled album of ever? We try to explain it with the treatment remix of Michael Jackson‘s Can’t Help It from Off The Wall , dropped by Todd Terje.
MARTINE GIRAULT FEAT. CL SMOOTH,P.DIDDY AND OPAZ – REVIVAL (YOUNG LORD REMIX)
Way back in 1992 r&b singer Martine Girault ( background vocal for Amy Stewart) hit the underground scene with her single called Revival. We selected a superlative and rare remix with the collaborations of rapper CL Smooth, Bad Boys Record’s boss P.Diddy,Ray Hayden aka Opaz and last but not least New York hitmaker Richard “Younglord” Frierson (Big Pun,DMX,Kool G Rap,Ginuwine,Lloyd Banks).
ERYKAH BADU – HONEY (RUCK P REMIX)
DJ/beatmaker/producer/instrumentalist,what else? The multifaceted Swiss artist Ruck P cooked a special and extra-mellow remix of Erykah Badu‘s joint titled Honey. DIAMOND DISTRICT – AIN’ T OVER (BLACK MILK REMIX)
Oddisee,XO and yU joned their skills to record a collaborative project titled March On Washington under the stage name of Diamond District entirely produced by Oddisee. Today we focus our attention on the remixed volume titled March On Washington Redux. The 5 stars project include massive remixes by a plethora of dope producers like Oh No,L’Orange,Large Pro,Doppelgangaz,Diamond D,Nottz and the list goes on. COMMON FEAT. CHANTAY SAVAGE – REMINDING ME (OF SELF) (THE ROOTS REMIX)
In 1997 Common Sense enlisted some heavyweight artists like Lauryn Hill,Black Thought,Erykah Badu,Q-Tip,Karriem Riggins,James Poyser,No I.D to record his third masterpiece titled One Day It’ll All Make Sense. The 12” of the second single Remind Me (Of Self) includes on the A-side a peerless remix by The Roots. Chantay Savage with her sultry voice enhanced the piece!
BRANDY – I WANNA BE DOWN (ADAM KAY REMIX)

ALISON EVELYN – FOUND A NEW THING (BREAK REFORM REMIX)
Break Reform’s members Nanar Vorperian,Simon Skolfield and J.J. Webster will guide you through the relaxing sonorities of the remix version of Found A New Thing performed by Alison Evelyn. The track is included on a sumptuos compilation released via UK label Abstract Blue Recordings.
