After almost three months we’re back with a brand new hip-hop new school selection! As you know we are very fussy about music selection and we think it’s very difficult to discover something interesting in the mainstream hip-hop scene. WALE FEAT. PUSHA-T – THE DEEP END (PRODUCED BY TONE P)
Last year Olubowale Victor Akintimehin aka Wale teamed up with DJ/producer Alain Macklovitch aka A-Track (1/2 of Duck Sauce …do you remember the hit Barbra Streisand) to record the mixtape Festivus. For the project the two artists recruited a line up of rappers such as:A$AP Ferg, Chance the Rapper, Ab-Soul. We selected for you the massive tune titled The Deep End alongside Pusha-T (the Virginia rapper is currently workin on his sophomore solo album titled King Push scheduled for this spring). The ultra dope beats of The Deep End are cooked by hip-hop producer Tone P ,1/2 of the production crew Best Kept Secret (they produced for Schoolboy-Q,August Alsina,Tinashe,Mistah F.A.B and many others). Recently Wale dropped his new album titled The Album About Nothing with stellar guests like Usher,Jeremih,J.Cole.

Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar recently released one of the most discussed album of the last decade: To Pimp A Butterfly. The project received enthusiastic reviews from radios,music sites,magazines and televisions! We can define To Pimp A Butterfly as more than a simple hip-hop album, it’s innovative,fresh and perfect in terms of sounds and lyrics thanks also the collaborations of trained artists such as Terrace Martin,Boi-1da ,Thundercat.. Like A Mexican by Atlanta young rapper Kap G caught the eye of several hip-hop music sites and magazines like the renowned XXL. Counting on the support of the best producers of the hip-hop game such as Pharrell,Drumma Boy and Shondrae Bangladesh the cool kid hit the streets with club bangers like Fuck La Policia (take a look to the official video).Recently Kap G dropped a remix version with the bars of Grand Hustle Gang boss, T.I. and veteran rapper/producer David Banner. North Carolina-based rapper Joshua Gunn popped up under our radar thanks his impressive rendition over the ultra-catchy,ultra-bluesy production handled by A List Productions titled Donny.

Hip-Hop underground trio Flatbush ZOMBiES leaps back with a brand new joint titled Plz Don’t Make Me Do It.For this occasion the Brooklyn oufit recruits Odd Future affiliate, Domo Genesis to shoot some raw bars over the soulful beats cooked by The Architect.Well,this tune epitomizes stunning lyrics and fluid beats that will blow your mind!
