Wrecks N Effect – Rump Shaker (Teddy Riley Remix)

On da selection Rhythm and Swingbeat we focused our attention on New Jack Swing sub-genre mentioning artists like Aaron Hall,Jodeci,Joe Public and the heavy-weight producer Teddy Riley. We start this brand new selection with the pearless talent of Mr. Riley that put his hands on a dope piece by new jack swing,hip-hop group called Wrecks-N-Effect titled Rump Shaker included on WNE sophomore album Hard or Smooth. Riley used the sample of 1972 record by Lafayette Afro Rock Band produced by Pierre Jaubert.

Ty Causey – Sweet Jesus (How Can I Repay) (Remix)

The Indiana native Ty Causey, will set your soul on fire!!! He’s a dexterous performer who plays a wide range of genres: gospel,jazz,r&b. He earned a great respect on jazz soundscape collaborating with artists like Najee. Laid-back vocal skills that enrapture audience attention and a pure class are the main ingredients of his music. We chose the remix version of Sweet Jesus from the album The Gospel Truth. This is real mood music!!

Slum Village – Jealousy (Zero 7 Remix)

In 2002 U.K super-prolific duo,Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker known as Zero 7 dropped a compelling compilation titled Another Late Night,mixing tracks by Souls Of Mischief,Roots Manuva,Quasimoto,The Cinematic Orchestra among others.  Another Late Night is a remarkable project as you can realize listening to the remix version of Jealousy by Slum Village.

We met U.K r&b producer/remixer Wayne Lawes aka Full Crew on R&B Retrospective,Hey Honey and Stay Mellow Vol.3. This time we make a dive in the 1997 to resume a hot treatment remix of a classic neo-soul gem performed by Rahsaan Patterson called Stop By, with the spicy rhymes of U.K rapper Rimes.

Mos Def – Sex,Love,Money (Pimp Walk Remixes)

In 2004 hip-hop underground mogul Mos Def, released his classic sophomore album The New Danger,giving to the fans immeasurable tunes like Ghetto Rock,Sunshine,The Panties. We selected the supa-dupa-cool Sex,Love,Money but in order to listen to something new , check out the remix version!!! So,so hottt!!!!

Boyz II Men feat. Treach,Craig Mack,Busta Rhymes,Method Man – Vibin’ (Tim & Bob Remix)

Wow!!! The track that we are going to introduce is epic!! In 1995 Motown Records released an LP of remixes of r&b group Boyz II Men titled The Remix Collection. The project consists of some re-editions cared by some r&b luminaries like Dallas Austin,Keith Crouch,Babyface. We raise the temperature with the treatment remix of Vibin’ masterfully cared by Tim & Bob and performed by Boyz II Men with special guests like Busta Rhymes,Craig Mack,Method Man and Treach.

Amel Larrieux – Get Up (E.Classical Remix)

Houston beatmaker E.Classical, revamps a neo-soul classic gem by Amel Larrieux titled Get Up.  Well , let the music speaks!!

A Tribe Called Quest – Oh My God (Know Naim Remix)
