The Los Angeles band is currently working on their full length album  titled Adventures From Paradise. They have just dropped some leaks from the forthcoming album enlisting renowned vocalists like Mara Hrubi, Alice Russell, Divine Brown,Van Hunt among others!!! Waiting for the exciting album, we peep into their project titled Revisited and Reworked Vol.2 released in 2013. Here you are the original, smooth and brilliant re-arrangement of Chaka Khan single titled What Cha Gonna Do For Me, performed by  the wonderful , velvety voice of Alex Isley .

The next track is a personal revisitation of a single performed by Cleveland based rapper Replife titled Elevation. Pittsburgh beatmaker Buscrates, revamps the track adding more urban beats and as usual he makes a great and compelling work!!! The original version is included on the interesting project The Unclosed Mind dropped in 2008 and featuring Deborah Jordan (of Silhouette Brown) and Noni Limar (Sa-Ra). The Unclosed Mind maybe represents an attractive album thanks the incredible line up of producers that collaborated : Atjazz,Soulpersona,Dego (of 4Hero),Mark deClive Lowe and Mecca:83.  Alongside Replife, you can appreciate the voice of the avant-garde songstress Kissey Asplund.

U.K singer Omar Lye-Fook , better known as Omar dropped in 1997 This Is Not A Love Song, a brilliant piece of work where trip-hop,neo-soul and acid-jazz coexist perfectly. But for this selection we decided to serve you up the revisitation of Say Nothin’ cared by Jason Osborne aka Opaz. So infinite class!!!

Check out and grab  the rarity!!!! On da jazz selection Da Jazz Hunters , we spreaded something really cool about Ambersunshower and today we focus our attention on her short experience with the acid-jazz,downtempo group Groove Garden alongside Atsushi Numata. Groove Garden released in 1992 an interesting 12” titled  You’re Not Coming Home. Taste the sparkling b-side remixed by Atsushi !!!

Time to make a journey into the past , into the golden era in order to meet Brooklyn hip-hop group Das EFX.  Drayz and Skoob dropped in 1995 the epic and solid album Hold It Down teaming up with producers Easy Mo Bee,DJ Scratch,Pete Rock,Clark Kent and Primo!!! Two years later J.Dilla put his golden hands on da record titled Microphone Master , putting his special imprint! This remix version is included on Jay Dee Unreleased EP available for free via House Shoes . Gotdamn, this is fireeeeeeeeee!!! Das EFX appeared on We Select,We Certify , Da Orchestra , Beats 4 Breakfast

We stay in the 90s with anotha solid hip-hop group that appeared so many times here on da block.. We are talking about Brand Nubian, that with their dynamic spit verses tore up the streets of the world !!! In 1994 Grand Puba,Sadat X,Lord Jamar and Alamo cooked a milestone full length album titled Everything Is Everything. Word Is Bond is a dope gem included on that album and now we deliver a bom-bap supa-powerful remix version cared by the magnificent Buckwild!!

The next treatment remix take a cue from a classic joint by Prince: Kiss!! The protagonists of this original and delectable soulful revisitation are New York DJ/producer DJ Smash, James Bob Belden an Illinois saxophonist, arranger, composer as well as producer and the voice of Jimi Tunnell . The luscious version is included on  Bob Belden Project ‎compilation titled Come Together – DJ Remix Jam.

Turn up a lil bit da volume because the next tune deserves some noise!!!! As great fan of Black Moon music for this selection we selected a  remix version of their single Act Like U Want It from their first album Enta Da Stage a really fucking hip-hop milestone! DJ Evil Dee is on deck with his obscure and raw style for this remix included on the compilation Diggin In Dah Vaults

The last choice, is an hip-hop piece released in 1993 by A Tribe Called Quest titled Oh My God included on the album Midnight Marauders. Check out the sumptuos remix version cared by Tosh
