Canadian rising star Roy Wood$ debuts on scratchtheblock.com with a song that fucked our brain! This young dude will engage your senses with his art to express himself equipped with a stunning abilities to rap as well as seductive vocal prowess. So , singer and rapper Roy Wood$ is member of the collective DNTFCKRND and his music unveils a musical background influenced by the seductive ovo-flow so Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR,The Weeknd. Prick up your ears and relax your mind because the song titled All Of You will give you to same effect of a drug that flow in your vein.Chill, smoky,dark and seductive melodies enhanced with Roy’s performance a la Michael Jackson. Mad props to Unify who built a superlative production.

TRE SAMUELS – MIDNIGHT MEDUSA (PRODUCED BY RACHEL JAMES)

Are you ready for something new,interesting,fresh ? Recently australian young emerging singer Trè Samuels caught the attention of blogs and music sites with a great r&b track titled Midnight Medusa. Well,thinking about today’s music industry, in particular the boring and conventional r&b scene,we think Trè Samuels represents something able to touch the string of your soul equipped with a helluva vocal prowess for a 15 year old kid. A star in training?We don’t know if he will became a prominent act but surely Midnight Medusa can be the first step to pave the way for his success. The perfect,tuneful and balanced amalgamation of smooth and downtempo electronic vibes with the tints of r&b sonorities a la Aliyah sounds like an excellent bond between past and future, so mad props to Rachel James for the wonderful production.

TAY WALKER FEAT. SYD THE KID – A GOOD FEELING

Inglewood multi-talented artist Tay Walker recently released  his debut album titled 25 Hours A Day. Since now , he really impressed us with his brilliant self-titled EP  and the precious collaborations on the sophomore album by The Internet titled Feel Good  and on Purple Naked Ladies as keyboardist. One of the most impressive track of the new project is A Good Feeling alongside Odd Future’s affiliate Syd The Kid. The joint is an eargasmic experience!

SPZRKT feat. SANGO – HOW DO YOU LOVE ME

Spazzy Rocket aka SPZRKT teamed up with Soulection artist Sango to release the project titled Hours Spent Loving You. The fruitful collabo between the Georgia native multi-genre singer/songwriter and the buttery and chill approach to make beats of the Seattle beatmaker Sango gives us something like a huge cascade of emotional and downtempo pieces. We selected for you the brilliant and goosebump tune How Do You Love Me

QUEEN MAGIC – I DON’T WANT

The current music scene in U.K is giving us a lot of interesting artists in terms of producers/beatmakers (Handbook,Natty Reeves,Origamik,Lewis Parker,Jake Milliner , Tom Mish,Henry Wu and the list goes on with established names Eric Lau,Dego,Kaidi Tatham), performers (Hawk House,Othasoul,Andreya Triana,The Age Of L.U.NA,Bekke,Fae Simon). Leeds based unadulterated artist Michael Bird is another name that deserves the attention of audience! With a musical background influenced by artists such as N.E.R.D, Robert Glasper Experiment,Little Dragon and James Blake , Michael Bird is ready to flex his musical chops with the debut EP titled Guys & Dolls. We are so so impressed by his multitasking talent as composer,producer and performer and if you are looking for a proof , don’t hesitate to listen to the outstanding I Care. The tune is a seductive combination of hypnotic instrumentals and silky n breathtaking laid back vocals. Well , make sure you to support Michael Bird and help him to spread his name internationally.

JUAN CRISTOBAL FEAT. JEFFREY DE’ SOUL – SUMMER IN THE HAMPTONS

The bona-fide french producer  Juan Cristobal earned his stripes delivering a kind of music that conveys his penchant for r&b in particular what we consider the r&b golden era,do you remember when we lost our heads with classic albums like 8701 by Usher,Tyrese by Tyrese Gibson,And Then by Joe ? The Cosmonostro label’s affiliate dropped in 2014 Precious recruiting several artists like r&B singer,songwriter Jeffrey dè Soul who give you a proof of his talent with the sexy joint titled Summer In The Hamptons. 

JORDAN BRATTON FEAT. FABOLOUS – DANGER

Despite is young age Long Island artist Jordan Bratton can be defined as a multi-tasking talent able to step into the limelight thanks his unadulterated skills as producer,songwriter as well as singer. He pops up under our radar with the alternative r&b track titled Danger. The compelling joint is included on his debut mixtape titled The Grey Area but we chose the remix version with the rhymes of veteran rapper Fabolous (peep the official video). Jordan Bratton is currently working on his forthcoming album Youth scheduled for May 12.

DAYE JACK – POOLSIDE (PRODUCED BY JU-AR)

Atlanta-bred super-talented singer/rapper Daye Jack touched the strings of our soul with his last EP titled The Ocean. Daye Jack flexes his huge talent recording a project that sounds groundbreaking and full of class. What makes The Ocean so distinct from the trite and saturated r&b scene is the clever experimentation of sonorities that perfectly match with Daye amazing vocal skills. In this particular case , the artist enlists german beat wizard Ju-Ar who deserves a standing ovation for the superlative production that oozes blissful beats with refined tints of soul, jazz  nestled in a perfect electronic frame. The centerpiece is Poolside a breath of fresh air for everyone want to hear something different.

7hSOUL FEAT. BXROD – MELLOWLIGHTS

On the neo-soul selection Nu-Mood we introduced to our audience the talent of 7thSoul. The Bay Area producer earned his stripes with the simply amazing Equilibrium a project great to cruise to chill and relax.7thSoul knocks it out of the park with his mix of hip hop, jazz and soul music flow. We selected one of our fave joint of the project: Mellowlights. It’s a collaboration with young alternative Bay Area songstress BxRod who will enrapture the listener with her delectable and retro’ vocal attitudes.
