DJ E-Swift and MC’s Tash & J-Ro pop up on FloFilz radar that resumes their single The Next Level from their sophomore album Coast II Coast. The talented german beatmaker with an impressive penchant for jazz-hop music , appeared on several selections here on da block: Street Jazz , Jazz-Hop and Cadillac , Da Orchestra and we recommended also his extra-soulful remix of May track . Recently we introduced to the audience, french collective producers Soul Square with the remix version of an interesting single by Electro Deluxe. Now we wanna focus again our attention on their craft in order to spread their talent. Following in the footstep of anotha french jazz-hop team producers, Jazz Liberatorz , Soul Square impressed us with a bunch of compelling and solid remixes and productions that surely will not betray jazzy fans. Are ya looking for a proof? Don’t worry, to convince you, we are going to spin a wonderful gem by Raashan Ahamad from his third studio album titled For What You’ve Lost released in 2010, that includes some interesting collabo like: Aloe Blacc,Taku,DJ Mitsu The Beats,Count Bass D. The next track is real rarity!!!! We dug in the crates to discover this must have gem from a must have album dropped in 1999. We are talking about Simply by Dego aka Tek 9 from 4 Hero . The project reflects avant-garde music enanched with future-jazz and hip hop beats recruiting some emcees from the US and U.K like: Chase Infinite, What? What?,Opio (of Souls of Mischief), Capital A, Rob Yancey, M.A.D., Sha Sha . We chose a remix version of the single titled Seven Days performed by femcee Parris Clemons and remixed by the one and only DJ Spinna.
In 2007 Southern California beatmaker Choice 37 cooked an allluring project titled Diligence recruiting for the occasion underground rapper Blu,Lauren Santiago,Freddie Joachim and Kero One. We chose the track titled Conversate featuring mastermind producer/emcee Kero One and El Gambina.
