Peace to all my peeps around the world.. I decided to put together some dope, rare remixes with underground flava!

The first track that i choose is a 90s single by Tracie Spencer, that collaborated with Eve, 50 Cent,G-Unit and Kanye West. The gem is called It’s All About You and it was produced by danish producer team Soulshock & Karlin (2Pac,Monica,Toni Braxton). The remix version with The Roots is definitely a goldie must have.

The next gem is included on a remix project by The Stuyvesants. They are Allan Cole and Darien Victor Birks, a producer and a record collector based in New York. On the masterful album called Remixes, they put together 10 classic tracks , imprinting their own stamp!!! Well, i’d like to show ya the remix of A Tribe Called Quest classic from their fourth album: 1nc Again. Enjoy da beats!

In 2008 Phonte Coleman joined his forces with producer Eccentric to drop the album called The Story Of U.S. I’m diggin the freestyle tune called Microcosmic Detroit Mix,that sounds like a “dillian” beat!

For the next artist , we have to make a jump in the past, back in the 90s, when New York super-producer Irv Gotti and boss of The Murder Inc., discover the raw talent of the emcee ,Mic Geronimo. In 1995 Mic released his debut album called the Natural, from which i choose the classic Wherever You Are produced by Mark Sparks (the man behind several tunes by Sy Smith,Salt-N-Pepa,Anthony Hamilton,Mya). What do you think about the remix version that uses the sample of Curious by Midnight Star?

In 1996 Def Squad member Keith Murray, dropped his sophomore album entitled Enigma, launched by the lead single called The Rhyme,a masterful Erick Sermon production. Check out the sumptuous remix version cared by The Ummah .

Who is GUIRO? It’s the moniker used by Glasgow producer Stevie Middleton and producer Ross Alexander Campbell, that teamed up with heavy-weight remixer/producer DJ Spinna to drop the fantastic gem called Solevision. The masterpiece includes the collabo of Pete Rock brother Grap Luva and ex member of Cooly’s Hot Box , Angela Johnson.

I’m so buzzing to share with you one of the most great remix of ever! In 1996 the king of neo-soul, D’Angelo gave to the world the classic masterpiece entitled Brown Sugar, mixing in a perfect way blues, swing, soul and rhythm & blues. I’d like to show ya the remix version of Me And Those Dreamin’ Eyes Of Mine cared by Def Squad. Erick Sermon imprints mo’ street-urban vibes!

In 1996 underground group Black Moon released a raw compilation: Diggin In Dah Vaults that included many revisited tracks from the debut album Enta Da Stage! Da Beatminerz do it again….anotha masterpiece for ya ears…listen to the sound of I Got Cha Opin remixed with the sample of the seductive gem Playing Your Game, Baby by Mr. Barry White.

As ya know i like to diggin in the crate and lost myself in the rarities… Do you remember Asanté? They were an r&b quartet, active in the middle of 90s and based in New York. In 1995 they dropped their debut album called Asanté Mode, launched by the lead single Look What You’ve Done. I grabbed the remix version cared by The Fugees..
