Da U.K hip-hop scene is living a flourishing moment,especially when it comes to talk about underground acts. Artists like Sumochief, Blue Lab Beats, Jake Milliner , Eric Lau , Mecca: 83 , Budgie got a sort of magical. Abnormal Sleepz (formerly known as Reece Samuels) is a Manchester rapper and producer which impressed us with an outstanding and vibrant project entitled The Meditape Two released last year from which we selected the a-ma-ziiiii-ng soulful piece called Boyz N Da Hood. Sleepz raps over da magic beats cooked by San Diego young,fresh n fly beat-wizard Sam Gouthro.
We make a quick run back to 2014 in order to dust off ScienZe little masterpiece called #BringBackElla . The Brooklyn emcee/producer confirms his prowess with the well-appointed sequel to Ella , recruiting bright sonic-architect such as ShunGu , NAMELESS , EOM, D.R.U.G.S among others. The track called Thundercats is what we consider as the centerpiece of the entire project! ScienZe soulful rhymes meet the soothing vocals of Niachene Patterson and together they glide over da supa-smooth chill backdrop finely wrapped by Chuk Le Garcon. Divine, simply divine!!!

New York songwriter Chris Classic knows perfectly well how huge n powerful Dilla’aura is , and with his mini project called 3 For Dilla Chris pays tribute to the hip-hop mogul rapping over some timeless beats. Mr. RJ , has already proved succesful in producing brilliant beats for the likes of Calvin Richardson,Phat Kat,Elzhi,Lloyd Banks,T3,De La Soul,Young Buck,Eric Roberson,Little Brother and Disclosure .
Equipped with a great vision , solid skills as producer as well as a rare talent as remixer , Parisian producer Mathieu Rakotozafy aka Astronote lands at scratchtheblock.com with one of his most powerful productions: ThaWon. Avant-garde artist Stacy Epps grabs da mic to spit some incredible head-nodding bars over da soulful production and everything sounds like a match made in heaven!!! Able to combine with self-confidence soothing vocals and agile rhymes Ms. Epps is the perfect voice for this majestic hip-hop sound. ThaWon appeared on Astronote’s Loose Bullets , a compilation of productions and remixes masterfully handled by Astronote .
Moka Only is a veteran hip-hop soldier which continues to carry the torch of quality underground hip-hop music while staying true to his values. The indipendent and prolific canadian rapper and super-producer recently delighted our ears with a new album called Concert For One dropped via his own imprint Urbnet .
