 Howdy beautiful scratchers , are you ready for a new journey into quality r&b music?

Mo Rhythm is a supa-catchy r&b selection that includes 10 tracks in order to satisfy the hunger of real good music of the audience out there.

So let’s go!

We start with the coming back of the king of r&b: Mr.Entertainment Usher Raymond. Recently he dropped a brand new single titled Good Kisser , lead single of his long awaited new album. Good Kisser is a supa-catchy mid-tempo smash, that conquers with funky drums , exciting falsetto and marvelous rhythm.

Jump in the 94s when Ohio r&b singer Trisha Covington released her debut album Call Me. We chose a remix version of the single Slow Down cared by Columbus heavy-weight producer/songwriter Dallas Austin that produced gems for TLC,Boys II Men,Deborah Cox,Madonna and the list goes on.

The next track is a nice tune by an r&b artist with a musical background influenced by icons like Luther Vandross ,Stevie Wonder and  Marvin Gaye . We are talking about Morris Alan that in 2012 released The Love Sessions from which we chose U Make Me Say featuring DC native r&b/neo-soul singer Dame Luke

Do you remember London Jones? With a look that reminds Terence Trent D’arby and a soft voice that evokes Michael Jackson , this New York r&b songwriter and vocalist unfortunately didn’t earn so much success but in 1994 he released the album titled For You that includes the single Joi.

Corey Latif Williams is a talented singer and grammy nominated songwriter that we follow for so many years. As songwriter he penned classic tunes like Teach Me by Musiq Soulchild and other successes for many artists like Cassie,JoJo,702 and Raheem DeVaughn among others. Under Motown Records , Latif released his debut album titled Love In The First in 2003 recruiting some masterminds producers of the music biz like B.Cox,Ryan Leslie,Sean Garrett. We selected the track titled Money produced by Philly beatmaker Caviart and included on Philadelphia Healing  EP.

We go on , with anotha wonderful voice from da r&b soundscape: Javier Colon.  The Connecticut singer released an album in 2003 Javier and in 2006 Left Of Center . In 2011 , showing to U.S audience his unadulterated impressive vocal skills with his partecipation and victory to the first season of The Voice . We chose the mid-tempo must have tune titled Beautiful U R produced by legendary team producers The Underdogs.

The next group was active during the early to mid 1990s and it’s called Jade. Di Reed, Joi Marshall, Tonya Kelly joined their forces to release smooth r&b records under the moniker of Jade. We selected a rare treatment remix of the single Everyday Of The A Week from the 1994 album Mind,Body & Song. The remix has been cared by P.Diddy and Chucky Thompson (that appeared on Stay Mellow Vol. 5 and Neo-Soul Theory )

German native super-talented beatmaker IAMNOBODI released  this year his project  Snapshots From Berlin recruiting U.K vocalist  Ego Ella May for da track titled Try Me. Smooth and interesting tune !

On the sixth installment of the Stay Mellow series we introduced you r&b/soul singer Trumaine Lamar with a supa-dupa gem produced by Brandon Crumbly The eclectic approach to make music by Brandon Crumbly , definitely captivated our interest thanks soulful productions rich in quality as you can see with I’m In Love with the vocals of Trumaine Lamar and M.E.R.C. The track is included on Lovers Lane EP dropped in 2010

Chicago r&b singer Alfonzo Hunter made some interesting joints under Def Squad Records. The 1996 album Blacka Da Berry is the proof of the quality music spread by Erick Sermon label. We chose the ever-green dope urban remix of the single Just The Way , masterfully revisited by Mr. Sermon. If ya like this remix you can listen to Roots,Groove & Rhythm
