Southwest Atlanta bona fide singer Tiombe Lockhart  earned her stripes thanks the long view of Waajeed, that decided to bet on her talent , recruiting Tiombe for his acclaimed project Triple P under the group Platinum Pied Pipers. Do you know the music by Pink Martini? Nothing familiar? Damn, come on, racks your brain!!! If i would suggest you the single titled Sympathique?  The eclectic ensemble was born by the idea of Oregon pianist Thomas Lauderdale, and we have to admit that  idea was really good! Thomas Lauderdale relased in 1997 Pink Martini debut album titled Sympathique , alongside Massachusetts singer/songwriter China Forbes  and they obtained positive reviews in particular in Europe. We selected the vintage jazz masterpice titled Hang On Little Tomato from their sophomore full-length self-titled album released in 2004.

With a musical background that includes Sarah Vaughan,Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding,Donny Hathaway  as well as modern artists like Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Maxwell, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, and Raphael Saadiq this talented songwriter and producer impressed us with his debut single titled Lose Your Smile. The music played by Matthew is “like a fusion of soul and jazz with beats” (as he says!!). On this track you can also appreciate the relaxed tones and warm melodies from Chicago songstress Trizonna McClendon .

Recently we recommended the lil smooth jazz masterpiece by Los Angeles young vocalist Lauren Desberg titled Sideways .
