Philly emcee Matt Ford dropped this year the good project titled  Dwelling . We are so impressed by the centerpiece titled Shade . Make sure you to check out this interesting joint produced by young beatmaker Rashad Ridgell.

Figub Brazlevic ,emcee/musician Julian Emmanuel Rogers aka JuJu Rogers and Teknical Development are the skilfull hip-hop trio called Man Of Boom. Their album Back To The Booom is a superlative opus that highlights the boom-bap hip-hop sound and rhythm tipical of the golden era. So if you are a nostalgic old-school digger, maybe their approach will be a great discovery. Many tracks included on Back To The Booom got a flavourful jazzy vibe as you can see spinning their dope track titled Boom

GURU FEAT. CHAKA KHAN AND BRANFORD MARSALIS – WATCH WHAT YOU SAY (PRODUCED BY DJ PREMIER)

We resumed so many gems performed by Guru on several hip-hop selections like Hustle Bustle,Da Orchestra,Walking With The Giants,Jazz-Hop and Cadillac,Street Jazz,Beats,Rhymes and Jazz,In Stereo,Jazzalude,In A Jazz Mood,Speaking In Keys and Road To Hip-Hop. This time we showcase something really really cool from the sophomore volume of  the acclaimed Jazzmatazz series titled Watch What You Say alongside the wonderful veteran songstress Chaka Khan, Mr. Branford Marsalis (the genius behind the project Buckshot LeFonque, taste the music on Neo-Soul Perspective,Speaking In Keys ) and produced by DJ Premier , using the sample of The Midnight Sun Will Never Set by Quincy Jones.

GRANATA – GNARCISSISM (PRODUCED BY FELLY)

Influenced by 90s hip-hop music played like iconic group like A Tribe Called Quest, the young & fleshy boy called Granata is ready to show ya his colourful and stylish rhymes with compelling tints of jazzy sonorities as you can realize watching the visual of the dope tune titled Say Whaddup! produced by german talented beatmaker FloFilz (appeared on Talking All That Jazz and others jazz-hop selections). ELZHI – DEEP (MOODS REMIX)

Dutch beatmaker Moods resumes a success of Detroit hip-hop rapper and former member of Slum Village , Elzhi , to create a jazzy peerless treatment remix of Deep , originally produced by veteran producer/rapper Black Milk.  We spun some dope shit by Moods on several selections like Street Jazz and Beats,Rhymes and Jazz.  Recently Moods appeared on the soulful hip-hop masterpiece by REdefinition titled Bahia Affair.

DILLON COOPER – I AIN’T HAVIN IT

Second time , here on da block for  Brooklyn emcee Dillon Cooper . This time we spread the supa-catchy jazz-hop groove of the track titled I Ain’t Havin It from the project Cozmik .  Definitely a dude that rock da mic!!!!

CROWN CITY ROCKERS – ANOTHER DAY (KATRAH-QUEY REMIX PART 2)

His name is Katrah-Quey and he appeared for the first time on scratchtheblock.com on the jazz-hop selection Walking With The Giants , where we spotlighted his unbelievable remix of a majestic track performed by Crown City Rockers.  The music produced by Desmond Hollins (real name of Katrah) is so rich of class and quality and on July we decided to show ya Katrah-Quey opus titled Woven In The Fabric, giving to you anotha proof of his remarkable craftmanship. Today we serve ya up another impressive , soulful and jazzy remix of a joint played by Rashaan Ahmad ‘s group Crown City Rockers titled Another Day from the album Another Day (Rhyme Writing) 

BOOGYMAN BLAK – FROM DC NY (PRODUCED BY BIROCRATIC)

Time to spread something new!!! Cool as hell, finest spit verses and a solid approach to hip-hop music. Allow us to introduce ya Boogyman Blak. This year he dropped From DC NY, a “love letter” to the cities that had  a great impact to his life! The EP has been produced by New York beatmaker Biocratic . AZ – THE COME UP (PHONIKS REMIX)

As other impressive young beatmakers specialized in jazz-hop beats ( FloFilz,Poldoore,WunTwo,Jazz Spastiks,Jazz Liberatorz ) , Portland producer Phoniks  built his name cooking dope remixes and with serious collabo with Awon (check out Dephacation ) and Anti-Lilly (Stories From The Brass Section ). In 2001 hip-hop underground emcee Asheru teamed up with Blue Black to record a quality album titled Soon Come . We are totally fascinated by the sophisticated, captivating and dynamic jazzy rhythm of the must have tune titled Truly Unique. Shake ya heads scratchers, this is finest music!
