South London based producer/singer Reginald Omas Mamode IV popped up under our radar in 2013 with his jam titled Do You? included on the 10th installment of Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Bubblers.

The skillful artist is member of a crew of musicians, beatmakers and producers (his blood brother Mo Kolours , Flako among others!!) and his clever works exude a musical background deeply influenced by hip-hop luminaries such as J.Dilla, A Tribe Called Quest,Pete Rock,Preemo and Slum Village..but it would be too simple and uncorrect to sum up Mamode’s music with a unique genre!

Reginal Omas Mamode IV’s greatness consists in his ability to experiment a plethora of genres, intertwining funk, soul, jazz, electronic and hip-hop to create a kind of music that he loves to describe as  “solar soul rays”.

In 2013 Reginald released Do You EP via U.K label Five Easy Pieces and last year he dropped As We Move .

This year Mr. Mamode confirms his unadulterated talent with Sunshine / MoneyMaker and with the last effort titled All Together delivered via dutch label Intimate Friends

What can we say about All Together EP?

Well, close your eyes and try to imagine a thoughtful blend of D’Angelo’s Brown Sugar and J.Dilla’s The Shining..

Here you are the cosmic slow-grooving experience of All Together EP!

Reginald’s warm, intimate style is highlighted throughout and the murmured vocals perfectly fit with well-appointed and hushed rhythm able to give you an injection of entrancing music.

If you love this super refined music don’t miss In My Heart I Am by Hazel and Ebrahim and Playground EP by Hazel
