Last year in August we introduced to our audience the spiritual and experimental music of  the interesting duo Oshun with the finest EP titled AFAHYE  and we also selected Oshun for the jazz selection Moonray.

Niambi Sala and Thandiwe leaps back with a brand new mixtape titled Asase Yaa , confirming their undisputable skills and spreading their positive messages of spirituality and social justice conveyed by consistent lyrics, underground, old school-esque beats and tints of nu-soul that will drive your mind into a new ecstatic dimension like a sort of an archaic rapture!

We highly recommend this finely crafted project enhanced with dope, chill and mellow instrumentals produced by Evil Needle (check out his recent collabo with JMSN titled Worry) , The Stuyvesants (we met them on Class In Session Vol.3 and Spin That), Nathaniel Geographica, U.K beatmaker Scoot Xylo.

Asase Yaa includes collabo with Brooklyn femcee and Pro Era affiliate T’nah Apex and Jerusalem native producer/rapper Proda
