OMEN FEAT. J.COLE - THINGS CHANGE (PRODUCED BY RON GILMORE)

After releasing the mixtape Afraid Of Heights and collabo on J.Cole’s The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights , Chi Town rapper and producer Omen finally drops his brand new album titled Elephant Eyes (the line up of collaborators includes Ari Lennox who delighted us on da neo-soul selection Nu-Mood).

The Dreamville Records affiliate wrote and produced the most part of the opus but we’d like to serve you up as tasteful appetizer what we consider the centerpiece of the album: Things Change.

The fantastic tune unveils substance, lyrical versitility  and an outstanding production finely handled by Mr. Ron Gilmore, a gifted pianist and producer who worked or shared the stage with artists such as Lauryn Hill,Jay-Z,J.Cole,Earl Sweatshirt and Mike Hicks.

J.Cole kicks off the track with subdued bars over a downtempo rhythm and in the second part Omen flexes his ability with serious rhymes.

Don’t miss the last work by J.Cole titled Forest Hills Drive featuring productions by Vinylz,Pop Wansel,!llmind and Cardiak.
