SCRATCHTHEBLOCK EZZY - GOODBYE (PRODUCED BY RAFI GAVRON)The Nas-produced movie The Land directed by Steven Caple Jr. is now available in theaters and yesterday Mass Appeal Records dropped the official soundtrack that has a list of prominent acts on board: Pusha T, Erykah Badu, Nas,Kanye West,French Montana,Stalley as well as up-n-coming artists such as “Mr. Really Got It” Jerreau , Alina Baraz,Sabina SweetRice and Ezzy.

One of the most impressive track is the first single released by Nas’s label titled Goodbye and performed by Ezzy.

Ezri “Ezzy” Walker is a young rapper from Cleveland who earned notoriety outside the local boundaries after his freestyle show on Sway in the Morning and now, after releasing two projects It’s Ezzy and Everything Ezzy , he can take advantage of his role on the movie and the impressive joint on da soundtrack to propel his career .

Goodbye is our favorite joint, it’s produced by Rafi Gavron and it got a kind of early 00′ hip-hop vibe and in term of lyric it’s solid, intelligent and inspiring talking about leaving the streets to chase a record deal , a sort of intimate open letter to the ghetto!
