Today we explore the southern hip-hop scene inviting y’all to experience a talented and interesting artist from Mississipi.

Atlanta, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama brought to us a massive dose of quality hip-hop music , we need only think of great acts such as Isaiah Rashad ,Rich Boy, Ludacris, Andre 3000,Jeezy,Pharrell, Kenn Starr, Pusha-T, Big K.R.I.T and the list goes on and on.

Emerging Mississipi rapper devMaccc blew our soul with his soulful approach and his recent EP entitled Four.Twenty represents a tasteful appetizer to get familiar with him.

The project can be compared to Isaiah Rashad Cilvia Demo in terms of quality and substance as you can realize listening to the lil masterpiece called Kickin’ It.

Definitely concept, soul, and lyricism at its finest!

The track is produced by  Jamaica-bred, Toronto-based beat architect Krs , the man behind Gwan Big Up Urself by Ovo Sound label r&b prince Roy Woods.

Krs is firmly positioned himself on the music map with eclectic air-tight productions and compelling collaborations with artists like Masego, Ye Ali (taste the single Talk Less), Kehlani among others.
