can be described as the quintessence of proficiency and creativity. The Toronto trio, made up of keyboardist Matt Tavares , bassist Chester Hansen and drummer Alex Sowinski , stepped into the limelight with their exquisite and more than original revisitations of hip-hop jams by Kanye West,Flying Lotus,Slum Village,Gucci Mane,Tyler The Creator and Earl Swetshirt among others. Their experimental approach is a clever and outstanding amalgamation between jazz,hip-hop and electronic , a kind of avant-garde music finely produced for listeners who are looking for something cool and different. Until now , they had the opportunity to work alongside well-known artists like Odd Future affiliate Earl Sweatshirt (producing Hoarse from Earl’s Doris) , Danny Brown (producing Float On from Old), Kali Uchis (producing Rush from Por Vida) , Kaytranada , RZA  and Ghostface Killah (with which they recorded a collaborative opus tited Sour Soul under the U.K. label Lex Records). In 2014 BBNG dropped their first project of original material titled III and now they’re almost ready to give to the world their new opus titled IV set for July , recruiting Charlotte Day Wilson (we met the Toronto,singer/songwriter/musician on occasion of her collabo with producer Froyo Ma for the impressive joint Spent Missing), Kaytranada and Mick Jenkins among others. Oh God!  At we lost our heads for the cult-classic collaboration with south side Chicago based super-talented rapper Mick Jenkins. The masterpiece is called Hyssop Love and it summarizes the versatility , the innovation and the quality of BBNG sound , a galaxy of cinematic, hazy and noir textures methodically arranged with extraordinary craftmanship. Mr. Jenkins shines bright flexing his tremendous skills as performer ,renewing the fruitful partnership with BBNG after their first collabo for the re-arrangement of On The Map originally performed by The Sensei Blue. After delighting critics and audience with his previous works The Water[s], Wave[s] and Trees and Truths , Mick Jenkins is almost ready to show his debut album titled The Healing Component scheduled for this summer!
